About me

Hi, I am Julia Franz and I work from my studio in Healesville, Healesville Pottery!

I have been a potter since 2002, and been working from a selection of different studio spaces over the years.

I was trained by master potter Henry Hackenberger from Myers Creek Pottery.

I find inspiration for a lot of my pottery from the love of the sea and coastlines. Using a palette of glazes carefully made by hand. I find most of my ceramics has a wink to the  ocean and seascapes in the colours.
